Terms of Service

Medicaist Global LLC ("Medicaist") is a health tourism intermediary agency. We do not operate hospitals, employ surgeons, or perform medical procedures. We act as a coordinator between you ("the Patient") and independent, licensed medical facilities and practitioners in Turkey.

  • Coordination with partner clinics for medical consultations and procedures.
  • Arrangement of VIP airport transfers and local transportation.
  • Booking of private recovery accommodation.
  • Provision of a personal translator/assistant during clinical visits.
  • Post-operative communication support and follow-up coordination.

All medical decisions, diagnoses, and treatment plans are the sole responsibility of the treating physician and the medical facility. Medicaist does not provide medical advice. You acknowledge that:

  • All surgical procedures carry inherent risks including but not limited to infection, scarring, and adverse reactions to anesthesia.
  • Results are not guaranteed and vary between individuals.
  • You are responsible for disclosing your full medical history to the treating physician.
  • You should consult your local physician before traveling for medical treatment.
  • A non-refundable deposit of [TODO: amount/percentage] is required to confirm your booking.
  • The remaining balance is due [TODO: timeline, e.g. 7 days before arrival].
  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Medicaist does not store credit card information.
  • All prices are quoted in Euros (€) unless otherwise specified.
  • Cancellations made [TODO: 30+] days before the scheduled procedure: full refund minus the deposit.
  • Cancellations made [TODO: 15-29] days before: 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than [TODO: 14] days before: no refund.
  • If the clinic cancels or postpones the procedure, Medicaist will arrange a full refund or rescheduling at no extra cost.

Medicaist acts solely as an intermediary. We are not liable for:

  • Medical outcomes, complications, or malpractice by partner clinics or surgeons.
  • Flight delays, cancellations, or visa issues.
  • Loss of personal belongings during your stay.
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest).

Our total liability shall not exceed the service coordination fee paid to Medicaist (excluding direct medical costs paid to clinics).

Medicaist does not hold medical, clinical, or transportation licenses itself. All services are delivered by independently licensed Turkish entities:

  • All partner hospitals and clinics operate under their own Turkish Ministry of Health medical facility licenses and are subject to Turkish healthcare regulations.
  • All partner surgeons and physicians hold their own medical board certifications and professional liability coverage.
  • All airport transfer and ground transportation services are provided by TURSAB-licensed (Association of Turkish Travel Agencies) operators with their own commercial vehicle permits and passenger insurance.
  • All accommodation providers are registered with Turkish local authorities and comply with applicable hospitality regulations.

Medicaist's role is limited to coordinating these independent, licensed service providers on behalf of the patient. We conduct due diligence on all partners but do not assume liability for their operations, licensing, or regulatory compliance.
